Xcel Colorado cuts heat-pump bonus multiplier Oct. 1 — cold-climate drops to $1,500/ton (3 minute read)
Per an Aug. 5, 2026 Xcel trade-partner notice (via a participating Colorado contractor blog), the gas-heating-customer heat-pump bonus fell from 3× to 2× on Oct. 1: cold-climate ASHPs $2,250 → $1,500/heating ton; standard ASHPs $900 → $600/cooling ton; HPWHs $2,250 → $1,500.
